Engineering Manager — Platform

Beacon Cloudworks is consolidating fragmented tooling into one internal developer platform. You will lead three squads — CI/CD, observability and cloud cost — and be accountable for developer experience metrics, not just delivery dates. This is a hands-off-keyboard role with deep technical judgement expected.

• Line-manage 12 engineers across three squads, including two tech leads
• Own the platform roadmap and quarterly OKRs with the VP Engineering
• Run hiring for the group — you will interview roughly 6 candidates a week during ramp-up
• Report on DORA metrics and cloud spend to the leadership team monthly

• 8+ years in engineering with at least 3 years managing engineers directly
• Hands-on background in infrastructure, SRE or platform engineering
• Track record of hiring and retaining senior engineers
• Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with senior stakeholders
