Senior Data Engineer

Veda Analytics runs forecasting and assortment models for consumer brands. You will own ingestion from client ERPs, distributor sales files and retail scan data, and the transformation layer that feeds the model training pipeline. Data contracts are enforced, and every pipeline has documented freshness and quality SLAs.

• Build and maintain batch and micro-batch pipelines in Python, Airflow and dbt
• Define and enforce data contracts with client-side IT teams
• Instrument freshness, volume and schema checks; own the alerting that results
• Partner with data scientists on feature stores and training datasets

• 4+ years in data engineering with production ownership
• Strong SQL and dimensional modelling fundamentals
• Experience with a cloud warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift)
• Exposure to CPG, retail or supply-chain data is a strong plus
